Transcripta Bio raised $24 million to advance IND-enabling studies and prepare clinical work for a neurological disease small-molecule portfolio spanning autism spectrum disorder and facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy. Founder and CEO Chris Moxham said the company’s approach uses transcriptome signatures to build models that map small-molecule perturbations across much of the transcriptome. The financing will support de-risking efforts ahead of Phase II, with Mayo Clinic and Omnimed joining JAZZ Venture Partners, BlueYard Capital and life sciences family offices among investors. The round also signals continued appetite for AI-driven biology platforms that can translate early efficacy hypotheses into clinical milestones.
