Inductive Bio secured an up to $21 million ARPA‑H award to lead DATAMAP, a consortium that will develop AI models for preclinical drug toxicity using advanced human biology systems. Partners include Amgen, Baylor, Cincinnati Children’s and university spinouts; the program will generate data from organoids, ex‑vivo human tissue and microphysiological systems to train predictive models for drug‑induced liver injury and cardiotoxicity. The project aims to replace or reduce animal testing by producing regulatory‑grade, human‑relevant safety predictors for earlier de‑risking of candidates.
