Beeline Medicines secured a $126.3 million Series A extension, bringing total funding to $426.3 million, as it advances afimetoran for lupus and expands development of additional immune candidates. The company, backed by Bain Capital, the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Bristol Myers, said the financing supports progress through late-stage clinical development and upcoming clinical studies. Beeline’s programs include afimetoran, a once-daily oral drug in systemic lupus erythematosus, and a biologic candidate BLN-326 in diseases such as atopic dermatitis and lupus. The company also outlined plans to start trials for a TYK2 inhibitor lomedeucitinib and an IL-18 receptor-targeting program (BLN-481) in the coming year. The extension reinforces the ongoing appetite for BMS-licensed immunology assets paired with venture-scale execution.
