Immunai inked a research collaboration with Boehringer Ingelheim valued at up to $15 million to identify novel T-cell targets across oncology and autoimmune disease. The partnership runs through 2027, with a data collection phase using Immunai’s single-cell immune profiling platform to map T-cell dysfunction patterns. Boehringer Ingelheim will apply Immunai’s multiomic workflow—covering single-cell RNA-seq, CITE-seq, ATAQ-seq, proteomics and spatial transcriptomics—combined with AI models of the immune system to generate starting points for new discovery programs. The deal follows Immunai’s expanded work with AstraZeneca, reinforcing a pattern of Big Pharma building translational discovery capabilities on top of clinical single-cell datasets.
