Parse Biosciences and Nomic Bio announced Cascade, a 100 million-cell multimodal foundational dataset designed to map human immune responses across perturbations. The partnership is intended to give pharma partners both cellular and protein-level insight, targeting immune response modeling and accelerating target identification and validation. Cascade combines 100 million single-cell RNA-seq profiles with more than 11,000 proteomic secretome profiles captured across more than 150,000 cytokine and drug perturbation conditions. The dataset tracks immune responses across multiple timepoints and pairs transcriptomic with proteomic readouts to capture mechanisms behind immune signaling. The companies said the program includes foundational commitments from firms including GSK, Pfizer, Sanofi, Graph Therapeutics, and Turbine. Parse will generate the single-cell data in its GigaLab service lab, while Nomic’s Omini 1000 platform will produce the secretome measurements, spanning more than 1,000 secreted proteins per sample.
