Researchers at UC San Francisco proposed a personalized antitumor vaccine built by combining expandable, genetically modifiable hiPSCs with “tumor-membrane dressing” to display tumor-derived MHC–antigen complexes. The approach is designed to prime both naive and effector T cells while reducing NK-mediated destruction of the vaccine cells.
