The Global Neurodegeneration Proteomics Consortium (GNPC) released one of the world’s largest dementia-related proteomic datasets, comprising approximately 250 million unique protein measurements from over 35,000 biofluid samples. The dataset identifies unique and shared protein signatures associated with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, frontotemporal dementia and ALS, providing insights into disease mechanisms and potential biomarkers. The freely available data offers a rich resource for early detection efforts and therapeutic development in neurodegenerative diseases.
