The Abu Dhabi Department of Health has partnered with UCSF and the Innovative Genomics Institute to establish genome medicine centers integrating clinical care and CRISPR gene-editing technologies. This initiative aims to improve outcomes for patients with severe, early-onset, rare, and inherited diseases by enabling early diagnosis and innovative treatments. The alliance builds on the Emirati Genome Program and reflects Abu Dhabi's commitment to personalized genomic healthcare.
