Sophia Genetics and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center agreed to establish a precision medicine hub combining Sophia’s DDM AI platform with MSK’s clinical data and expertise. Sophia said the arrangement is intended to accelerate translational research and expand access to new discoveries and companion diagnostic or algorithm development for pharmaceutical partners. The MoU outlines a framework for multimodal oncology evidence generation, where MSK provides clinical leadership and data infrastructure while Sophia provides its AI platform and global infrastructure. Sophia noted that deal specifics and financial terms are still being finalized. The partnership builds on prior Sophia–MSK collaborations around assays including MSK-ACCESS and MSK-IMPACT, suggesting continuity in the companies’ focus on applying analytics to clinical evidence. For the industry, the hub model points to growing demand for evidence-generation infrastructure that can translate AI outputs into regulatory-ready diagnostics and treatment decision tools.
