PV is marked by runaway erythrocytosis, putting patients at risk of thrombosis, bleeding complications, and other malignancies. Silence’s Phase 2 data, alongside its next-stage plans, put pressure on the competitive landscape for PV, including therapies nearing approval from established rivals.
