ProteomEdge, a Sweden-based SciLifeLab and KTH spinout, secured SEK 8 million in a seed financing to expand its absolute quantitation workflow for mass spectrometry-based proteomics. The company’s cleavable peptide standards are designed to enable absolute measurement of plasma proteins across research and clinical assay contexts, including applications such as protein impurity profiling for AAV and rare variant detection research workflows. ProteomEdge also launched its largest standards panel to date, DiscoveryEdge 600, featuring heavy-labeled standards for 620 proteins and coverage for more than 6,600 peptides, as it prepares for broader customer deployment in Europe.
