RQ Bio secured an oversubscribed $115 million Series A to advance RQB01, a long-acting antibody program intended to provide broad, season-long protection against influenza in high-risk and immunocompromised populations. The financing was led by Frazier Life Sciences with participation including LifeArc Ventures, Forbion, and EQT Life Sciences. The program is in IND-enabling studies and is designed around a dual mechanism targeting conserved influenza epitopes, with the company positioning the approach as a single-dose alternative for patients who remain vulnerable despite standard vaccines. RQ Bio also said the Series A will fund clinical development of RQB01 as well as expansion of its prophylactic respiratory-virus pipeline.
