Ferring Pharmaceuticals agreed to acquire fertility startup Gameto for as much as $1.4 billion, expanding its reproductive medicine portfolio with Gameto’s “Fertilo” technology. Ferring said the deal includes milestone-based payments and that the companies will operate independently until closing.
