The FDA approved Revolution Medicines’ daraxonrasib (Rasonque) for advanced pancreatic adenocarcinoma, a rapid regulatory decision that makes the first RAS inhibitor available in this setting. The approval follows a Phase 3 trial readout showing median overall survival of 13.2 months on daraxonrasib versus 6.7 months with standard chemotherapy in previously treated patients. In parallel, AstraZeneca and Amgen’s Tezspire (tezepelumab) moved closer to competing with Sanofi’s Dupixent in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) after meeting Phase 3 goals. A potential EoE approval would make Tezspire’s third indication and extend the drug’s commercial footprint beyond its current use in immune-mediated disease.
