Tango Therapeutics and Revolution Medicines reported Phase 1/2 results for a chemotherapy-free combination of vopimetostat, a PRMT5 inhibitor, plus Rasonque (KRAS pathway targeting) in advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. In efficacy-evaluable patients, the companies reported an 82% objective response rate, with 88% alive without progression at nine months. The readout was presented in connection with ESMO, with focus on durability and tolerability as the regimen seeks to show that targeted combinations can outperform single-agent expectations in genetically defined subsets. If replicated in larger datasets, the results could further cement the role of genotype-informed targeted pairing in metastatic pancreatic cancer, where limited durable benefit remains the key clinical challenge.
