Grail partnered with Epic to embed ordering for its Galleri multi-cancer early detection test directly into Epic’s electronic health record platforms. The collaboration is designed to reduce operational barriers by letting clinicians order Galleri from within patient workflows and receive results inside the same EHR environment. Grail said implementation planning began in 1Q26, with broad availability targeted by end of 2026 for roughly 450 health systems. The company cited prior integration with Athenahealth and Quest Diagnostics as proof points for scaling lab ordering pathways. This move targets the practical friction that can slow adoption of blood-based early detection tests, aiming to support routine ordering prior to symptom presentation while results flow seamlessly to care teams.
