Sensible Biotechnologies raised $47 million to advance and scale its integrated mRNA technology platform, including a Series A and up to $20 million in non-dilutive funding from the Government of Slovakia and the European Union. The company said its VECTOR platform uses computational and AI-enabled sequence optimization paired with high-throughput screening and engineered eukaryotic cells to design and manufacture naturally modified mRNA. Sensible also highlighted its PromPT approach for capturing and protecting mRNA inside cells before purification, aiming to reduce immunogenicity and avoid double-stranded RNA contamination. The company plans to develop clinical-grade manufacturing capabilities alongside expanded AI-enabled design and automated screening. The round adds capital to a competitive area of next-generation mRNA where the main differentiators remain immunogenicity control, repeat dosing feasibility, and manufacturing scalability.
