Diasome said its HDV-Insulin program for type 1 diabetes is moving into final Phase 3 planning after what it called promising data, targeting hepatocyte delivery through its hepatocyte-directed vesicle lipid nanoparticle platform. The approach is designed to concentrate insulin (and related payloads) toward portal-hepatic regions to mimic endogenous release patterns and improve hepatic bioavailability.
