Definium Therapeutics reported positive top-line results from a late-stage Phase III trial of its oral LSD candidate, DT-120 (lysergide), in generalized anxiety disorder. The company said the study “cleared the bar” and adds a second Phase III success after it reported favorable Phase III data for the same therapy in major depressive disorder. The Phase III anxiety trial enrolled 214 patients randomized to DT-120 or placebo. Results were described as a statistically significant improvement, adding to the dataset being used to define Definium’s registrational plan. For psychedelics developers, the milestone increases the probability that investigational compounds can advance into broader regulatory consideration, but it also highlights how trial messaging and data transparency will be decisive as these programs approach submission.
