Single Cell Discoveries (SCD) completed its acquisition of TATAA Biocenter, combining discovery transcriptomics with GLP/GCLP-compliant bioanalysis, including qPCR and dPCR, and molecular assay development. The deal creates a Europe-based CRO footprint designed to move from target discovery through validated regulatory-ready results without sponsors switching providers for critical handoffs. SCD highlighted capabilities across single-cell sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and multi-omics, while TATAA adds assay validation and bioanalysis workflows suitable for clinical development. SCD said financial terms were not disclosed and emphasized that teams and quality systems for existing customers will continue largely unchanged, with Gothenburg remaining an operating base for TATAA’s scientists.
