Roche has signed an agreement with Dualitas Therapeutics to use Dualitas’ Dualscreen bispecific discovery engine to screen more than 300,000 bispecific antibody combinations. The deal is structured around immunology and inflammation targets, with the goal of identifying pairs designed to work synergistically when tethered. Dualitas will receive $36.5 million upfront and is eligible for research, development, and commercial milestones plus tiered royalties, with a potential total deal value of up to $1 billion. Dualitas’ platform is positioned as a way to systematically evaluate bispecific pairing effects rather than relying on traditional individual-antibody approaches. For Roche, the agreement expands its access to early bispecific generation capabilities at a time when next-generation immune and inflammatory therapeutics are central to portfolio strategy.
