EpiCypher and New England Biolabs (NEB) expanded their epigenomics partnership, extending commercialization of CUT&RUN and CUT&Tag workflows. The expanded collaboration now includes CUTANA Fiber-seq kits and long-read sequencing efforts, integrating NEB enzymology. Originally announced in 2022 for CUT&RUN library prep kits, the partnership has broadened to include additional assays such as NiCE-seq and multiomic CUT&RUN incorporating NEB’s EM-seq technology. NEB will also distribute EpiCypher’s CUTANA product portfolio internationally starting with Germany and the UK. The deal matters for labs pursuing higher-resolution chromatin mapping—especially where longer-read approaches can improve interpretability of complex regulatory regions.
