Electra Therapeutics filed for an IPO to fund development of an immunology and oncology pipeline anchored by ipsoprubart (formerly ELA026) for secondary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (sHLH). The company plans to list on Nasdaq under symbol ETRA after the Labor Day holiday. Electra said it will use IPO proceeds to support its global Phase 2/3 sHLH trial and advance additional programs, including development in T/NK cell malignancies and work with another SIRPγ-targeting candidate, ELA822. The drug has received FDA breakthrough therapy designation and PRIME designation from the European Medicines Agency, and Electra cites Phase 1b data showing 100% overall survival at eight weeks among 12 frontline sHLH patients. The filing also reflects sustained investor and issuer appetite for immunology assets with regulatory designations, particularly in rare, high-acuity indications.
