Leica Biosystems expanded its strategic collaboration with AstraZeneca and Daiichi Sankyo to scale a TROP2 biomarker assay and computational image analysis workflow for non-small cell lung cancer. The collaboration builds on AstraZeneca’s Quantitative Continuous Scoring (QCS) algorithm and integrates Leica’s digital pathology tools, including the BOND RX research stainer and Aperio imaging infrastructure. The TROP2 Normalized Membrane Ratio (NMR) approach will be delivered through Leica’s Aperio AI Store as a research tool, targeting more consistent biomarker quantification aligned with digital pathology operations.
