Spyre Therapeutics reported positive initial 12-week Phase 2 data for SPY002, its anti-TL1A antibody, in patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis. In the Skyline program’s Part A, SPY002 achieved a statistically significant 10.7-point reduction from baseline in Robarts Histopathology Index (RHI) scores by week 12. The company also reported clinical remission of 33% and endoscopic improvement of 42% in the evaluated cohort. Spyre said the safety profile matched the broader TL1A class, supporting further dose and combination exploration in the ongoing trial platform alongside SPY001 and SPY003.
