At the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, results from ROSETTA Lung-02 showed that pumitamig (BNT327/BMS986545) plus chemotherapy produced high response rates in first-line NSCLC across histologies and PD-L1 levels. In the phase 2 study of 40 patients, the regimen achieved a 72.5% unconfirmed ORR and a 62.5% confirmed ORR, with disease control at 100% on confirmed assessment. Safety data showed no new signals, with reported grade 3 VEGF-related events including a resolved bleeding case. The readout positions pumitamig combination therapy as an efficacy signal to watch for further development, while still pending larger, confirmatory datasets.
