Tango Therapeutics reported new clinical activity from an ongoing Phase 1/2 study combining its PRMT5 inhibitor vopimetostat with Revolution Medicines’ RAS(ON) inhibitor Rasonque in MTAP-deleted, RAS-mutant advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. The company said it observed an 82% objective response rate with a 9-month PFS rate of 88%, and median progression-free survival was not yet reached. Tango described the regimen as generally well tolerated across the treated population, and emphasized the absence of chemotherapy in the combination—an approach that has drawn attention in pancreatic cancer given entrenched multi-modality standards. The data are being presented at ESMO, and the company framed next steps around potential registrational study planning, including a future Phase 3 in front-line settings if eligibility and endpoints align with regulatory expectations. For developers and partners, the focus shifts to durability signals, biomarker performance, and safety across broader cohorts as the program moves from early proof into confirmatory design.
