Roivant’s Priovant reported positive Phase 3 results for Lisraya (an immune-modifying oral therapy) in non-infectious uveitis. The two studies reportedly enrolled 371 patients and showed Lisraya outperforming placebo, following earlier approval for dermatomyositis. Roivant said it plans to pursue expanded FDA approval in the first half of 2027, targeting a market estimate that includes tens of thousands of U.S. patients receiving TNF inhibitors or similar biologics. Analysts and stakeholders will watch whether effect sizes and safety signals hold across the two trial programs as the company transitions from dermatomyositis into broader inflammatory-eye indications. The readout strengthens Roivant’s broader strategy of building repeatable franchise economics around immunology candidates moving across indications.
