Beacon reported that its X-linked retinitis pigmentosa gene therapy laruparetigene zovaparvovec (laru-zova) met the FDA-endorsed primary endpoint of improving low luminance visual acuity in its pivotal Phase II/III VISTA study. The result strengthens the company’s position ahead of a potential BLA, with responder improvements observed in both dose cohorts compared with untreated controls.
