Chemify has opened its first fully automated 'Chemifarm' near the University of Glasgow, combining AI-driven molecular design with industrial-scale robotic synthesis to accelerate drug discovery and materials science. The £12 million facility houses advanced production suites, laboratories, and a cloud infrastructure for storing vast chemical data. Central to Chemify’s innovation is the Chemputation platform, featuring a bespoke programming language and a rapidly expanding validated reaction library. Plans include replication of this model in the United States and globally, aiming to shorten timelines from concept to compound and expand programmable organic chemistry capabilities.
