Cellares signed a long‑term lease at Leiden Bio Science Park for a new Integrated Development and Manufacturing Organization (IDMO) Smart Factory that will serve as the company’s European headquarters and regional manufacturing hub. The 105,000‑square‑foot facility will house Cell Shuttle automated manufacturing platforms and Cell Q quality systems to support European clinical and commercial cell therapy programs. Cellares plans a phased fit‑out with initial occupancy expected in late 2026; the site complements its Bridgewater, NJ commercial Smart Factory and existing South San Francisco operations, aiming to reduce time‑to‑patient for regionally supplied autologous and engineered cell therapies.
