Cellares signed a long‑term lease for a Smart Factory at Leiden Bio Science Park to serve as its European headquarters and expand automated cell‑therapy development and manufacturing capacity. The ~105,000 sq ft site will host Cellares’ Cell Shuttle manufacturing platforms and Cell Q QC systems, enabling regional, time‑sensitive production for cell therapy developers moving from clinical to commercial supply. Company executives said the Netherlands hub will support process transfer and consistent execution across Cellares’ global IDMO network.
