Cellares signed a long‑term lease for a new integrated development and manufacturing organization (IDMO) Smart Factory in Leiden Bio Science Park to serve as the company’s European headquarters. The 105,000‑square‑foot site will host automated Cell Shuttle manufacturing platforms and Cell Q QC systems to support regional cell therapy clinical and commercial supply. Cellares said the Leiden hub complements its Bridgewater commercial facility and South San Francisco operations, aiming to reduce process transfer times and provide local capacity for European cell‑therapy developers as programs scale toward registration.
