Cellares and Sonoma Biotherapeutics agreed to automate the manufacturing of SBT-77-7101, an engineered regulatory T cell therapy in phase 1 for poly-refractory rheumatoid arthritis. Cellares said it will translate SonomaBio’s production process onto its Cell Shuttle platform and use Cell Q quality control systems for in-process and release testing, aiming to scale manufacturing with cell-type-specific process controls.
