Autolomous and Cellular Origins announced end-to-end integration of their automation and digitization platforms to scale cell therapy manufacturing with standardized, traceable data flows across the process. The companies said their combined approach connects modular automation (Constellation®) with a digital autoloMATE® data platform designed for real-time exchange across devices and robotic systems. The integration work is being applied in testbed environments, including the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult’s Digital and Automation Testbeds, supported by an Innovate UK-funded project. The companies framed the system as designed to reduce redevelopment risk when scaling and to improve visibility across the supply chain. For the CGT sector, the announcement reflects a practical shift from isolated automation pilots toward interoperable “platform-to-platform” manufacturing ecosystems that can be validated operationally rather than just in standalone studies.
