EsoBiotec provided extended follow-up on its in vivo BCMA CAR-T program ESO-T01 in relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, reporting no new immunogenicity- or integration-related toxicities beyond earlier observations. The objective response rate remained at 100% across four patients, including two stringent complete responses. However, persistence appeared limited: one patient maintained a stringent complete response for 15 months, while relapses and progressions involved extramedullary disease. Median progression-free survival was reported as 4.0 months, with the company framing the results as data to guide further optimization of the in vivo platform.
