Network Bio launched with $50 million in financing and signed a collaboration valued at roughly $30 million with Nvidia to build a cell-free RNA foundation model. The program targets an “AI-ready” multimodal infrastructure trained on large-scale tissue, blood, molecular, and longitudinal clinical outcome datasets compiled through academic medical center biobanks. The partners will integrate Nvidia software (including Parabricks for nucleic acid analysis) and Nvidia’s BioNeMo Recipes to streamline model-building and data conversion. The collaboration also includes development of a population-scale cfRNA foundation model intended to serve as a base for supervised models in oncology and non-oncology applications. Network Bio said it is already co-developing and licensing elements of its platform through a prior agreement with a Fortune 100 healthcare company, providing early commercialization validation for the approach.
