Sino Biological launched XPressMAX™—a cell-free protein synthesis kit designed to accelerate AI-driven high-throughput antibody discovery workflows. The kit enables researchers to synthesize target proteins and antibody formats directly from plasmid or PCR templates using an E. coli lysate platform. Sino Biological positioned the new offering as a way to remove bottlenecks from cell-based expression, improving speed for candidate validation cycles. The company said its platform supports production of formats including VHH, scFv, Fab, and miniproteins, and that it has integrated the approach into workflows capable of validating thousands of candidates within weeks. For biotech R&D teams, the launch targets faster iteration during antibody lead discovery and early optimization—particularly when AI systems generate larger candidate sets than traditional wet-lab throughput can immediately handle.
