The transaction covers payment for Texcell assets and inventory, employee retention for selected staff, and continuation of certain commercial contracts, with operations maintained at Genopole in Évry-Courcourcouronnes. ABL Dx said the acquisition strengthens its position in virology, biosafety, and services for biopharmaceutical clients. The move signals continued consolidation and niche capability building in CDMO-adjacent services where sponsors increasingly need dedicated viral clearance testing, bioassay development, and evidence packages for regulatory submissions.
