Everest Medicines’ Cardamyst, a self-administered nasal spray for paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia, received clearance as a differentiated cardiovascular option for adult management outside emergency settings. The agency also cleared Simcere Pharmaceutical Group’s Yingmule, a long-acting monoclonal antibody intended to prevent RSV-related lower respiratory tract infections in newborns and infants. Simcere’s clearance supports an at-home passive immunization strategy for the upcoming first RSV season in targeted age groups. Together, the approvals expand differentiated delivery formats—nasal for acute arrhythmia and passive immunization for seasonal respiratory risk—highlighting continued regulatory support for non-traditional administration routes.
