A Chinese clinical study reported that donor-derived anti-CD19 CAR-T cells achieved complete remissions in 13 of 14 leukemia patients who relapsed after stem-cell transplantation, including most with extramedullary disease. The findings suggest a potent salvage option when conventional post-transplant therapies fail. For cell-therapy developers and transplant programs, the results also reinforce continuing demand for strategies that can bridge relapse settings and deliver durable disease control.
