Encoded Therapeutics closed a $275 million Series F to advance its Dravet syndrome precision genetics program and scale its manufacturing footprint. The round was led by GV and included an undisclosed healthcare investor, the company said. The financing underscores investor demand for high-specificity genetic therapies as companies push from early clinical proof toward larger, late-stage patient cohorts and commercial-ready supply. Encoded also positioned the funding as support for expansion of internal capabilities tied to repeatable, quality-controlled gene medicine production. With Dravet remaining one of the most challenging childhood epilepsies, the new capital gives Encoded more runway to execute clinical development milestones and deepen its platform execution across genetically defined indications.
