Bionyra Pharma emerged from stealth after raising an oversubscribed $165 million Series A to build next-generation biologics for severe inflammatory and immune-driven diseases. The financing was co-led by Jeito Capital and Sofinnova Partners, with participation from investors including Sanofi Ventures and others. Frédéric Marrache, MD, PhD, co-founded the company and will serve as CEO. Bionyra said the board appointments will include leaders from co-investors, positioning the new platform to advance differentiated programs after mapping the asset space around immunology target selection and pathway rationale. The funding underscores continuing appetite for immune-inflammation platforms, particularly those aimed at next-generation biologic modalities where competition is rising but differentiation still depends on biology-driven target selection and clinical development execution.
