Grail partnered with Epic to integrate its Galleri multi-cancer early detection test into Epic’s electronic health record platforms. The collaboration would allow clinicians to access Galleri within existing workflows, place orders at the point of care, and receive results through the same EHR environment. Grail said implementation planning began in Q1 2026, with broad ordering and result delivery through Epic expected by the end of 2026. The company estimates approximately 450 health systems will be able to access Galleri results through their patient portals. The deal builds on prior integration moves, including Grail’s work with Athenahealth and Quest Diagnostics to expand ordering and availability. Scaling EHR-native test ordering may reduce operational friction for providers adopting blood-based early detection programs.
