The University of Manchester secured nearly £1 million from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to build snail-inspired soft robots for precision drug delivery in bowel cancer. The project aims to develop microscopic locomotion mechanisms that can carry and deliver anti-cancer drugs more locally than conventional approaches.
