Caris Life Sciences reported a sharp acceleration in revenue growth, driven by rising molecular profiling services and expanded reimbursement coverage for its assays. The company posted second-quarter revenue of $263.7 million, up 45% year over year, with molecular profiling rising 55% as clinical case volume increased. Caris also highlighted that it received its first Medicare reimbursement for Caris ChromoSeq, a whole-genome sequencing and whole-transcriptome assay for myeloid malignancies at the approved reimbursement rate. In pipeline updates, management said it expects tailwinds from a new version of the MI Clarity cancer recurrence risk platform and from an upcoming minimal residual disease (MRD) assay launch. Caris’ comments point to continued momentum for tumor-informed decision-support tools as oncology moves toward recurrence-risk and MRD-guided strategies that can affect downstream treatment intensity.
