Cutting-edge bioinformatics advances herald new capabilities in understanding complex cellular systems. The GNODEVAE graph-based ODE-VAE method was introduced to enhance clustering accuracy in single-cell RNA sequencing data, improving distinction of cellular subpopulations. Additionally, Latch released a comprehensive human spatial transcriptomics atlas encompassing 25 million cells from 11 major platforms. This data resource includes annotated datasets for cell-type annotation and ligand–receptor analysis, significantly advancing spatial biology and enabling better models of cell interactions and disease microenvironments.
