Emerging companies and academic groups are advancing epigenomic analysis and single-cell technologies to enhance precision medicine and biological insights. Epigenica, a Swedish startup, is commercializing a proprietary multiplex chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP-seq) platform that allows scalable, cost-effective simultaneous profiling of histone modifications. Separately, BioSkryb has licensed a novel single-cell methylation analysis method from Stanford and CZ Biohub to combine genetic and epigenetic state analyses on ultra-low input samples. Additionally, researchers have developed a comprehensive spatial transcriptomic atlas tracing the Arabidopsis plant life cycle at single-cell resolution, promising new understanding of plant development.
