Cutting-edge technologies in drug delivery and bioelectronics are converging to enable more precise therapeutic interventions. A soft neural interface combined with a tapered peristaltic micropump has been developed for wireless, controlled drug delivery, heralding advances in neuromodulation treatments. Separately, room-temperature self-assembling polymer-based nanoparticles enable gentle encapsulation and scalable delivery of protein and siRNA biologics, overcoming limitations of current lipid nanoparticle formulations. These innovations promise enhanced versatility and control in biologic drug administration.
