Creatv Bio and Neovia Oncology agreed to evaluate Creatv’s LifeTracDx liquid biopsy technology in clinical studies of Neovia’s drug-resistant solid tumor program, NEV-801. The monitoring test uses circulating tumor cells and cancer-associated macrophage-like cells to assess drug target engagement and how tumors respond over time. The companies said the trial usage is intended to generate translational and biomarker data that could support patient stratification for drug-resistant cancer settings—where conventional biomarkers often fail to predict response dynamics. For Neovia, the arrangement provides a companion diagnostic-style capability to track biology changes during treatment. For Creatv, it reinforces its positioning in liquid biopsy workflows that extend beyond detection into response measurement. Overall, the partnership highlights the continued push for real-world biomarker utility in oncology, particularly for resistant disease where treatment selection remains challenging.
